    Managed Websites

Describe a business in a few sentences and get a complete website: design, copy, code, legal pages, a working contact form, hosting and HTTPS. You review a private draft before anything goes live, change it later in plain language, and can roll back to any earlier version.

Every generated page is checked against a strict list of what is allowed before it can be served. A page that breaks a rule is refused, not published.

    What you get

A multi-page site with navigation and a footer, sections chosen for your kind of business, and real copy written from your brief rather than placeholder text. Up to four languages from one brief, each with its own URLs, language tags and a switcher. An Impressum and a privacy page generated from your business details and linked in the footer.

When the design calls for a contact form, mailnix creates an actual mailnix Form and wires it into the page. It shows up in your forms list, its submissions land in the same inbox with the same spam scoring and CSV export, and your edits to it survive a regeneration. mailnix never auto-replies to the person who filled it in; replies are always your decision.

Hosting and TLS are included. You get an address at your-name.mailnix.site immediately and can attach your own domain whenever you like; the certificate is issued and renewed for you.

    How it is paid for

Managed Websites is paid from a credit balance, not from a per-plan cap. One credit is one rappen, so 100 credits is CHF 1.

Every plan carries a monthly allowance:

    PlanMonthly creditsWhat happens to them
    Free200reset each month
Basic800carry over, up to six months' worth
Pro4,000carry over, up to six months' worth
Enterprise100,000carry over, up to six months' worth
Pay-As-You-Gonone grantedyou buy credits; they never expire

Two rules make the rest predictable.

Credits you buy never expire, and they are always spent last. So a monthly reset can only ever remove free credits, never the ones you paid for.

An allowance that carries over tops up toward its ceiling and is never reduced. If you hold six months' worth already, the next month grants nothing rather than trimming what you have. If your plan changes to a smaller one, everything you hold stays; only future grants shrink.

    What things cost

    Roughly, for a four-page single-language site:

    ActionCredits
Designing a site100 to 1,200 per round, depending on the quality tier
Building the pages100 to 600, once, when you approve a design
    A plain-language edit100 to 250
    Editing a content listfree
    Rolling back a versionfree
    Storage5 per GiB, per month
    Traffic10 per GiB served

There is no separate per-site fee; storage and traffic cover serving.

Before any run starts, the dashboard prices the brief you actually wrote and shows you that figure. A run holds its worst case against your balance while it works, usually about twice the final cost, and returns the difference when it finishes. Every run is listed with what it held and what it cost.

    The lifecycle

Describe it. Pick a style and the kind of business you run, add a few sentences of your own, and drop in reference images if you have a look in mind. You see the full brief and its price before anything is charged.

Review a draft. The result is a working website on a private preview address. Open it on your phone, show it to someone, and ask for changes until it is right.

Publish. One click puts it live over HTTPS.

Keep it current. Change one section without touching the rest. Update repeating content like services or opening hours directly, with no run to pay for. Roll back to any earlier version at any time.

Why a page can be refused

Nothing the AI writes is trusted. Every generated page is checked against a strict list of what is allowed before it can reach even a preview address:

    • scripts that could run arbitrary code, inline event handlers and javascript: links all fail the check
    • external trackers, tag managers and font services are refused, so the browser fetches your site and nothing else
    • titles, meta tags, alt text, labels and landmarks are required, so a page missing them does not ship
    • fonts must come from the licensed set mailnix ships

A refused run tells you which rule was broken. Published sites are re-examined on a schedule too: the served files are compared against what you approved.

Your brief and your reference images steer the design. They cannot change these rules: the checks run on what comes out, never on trust in what went in.

    Privacy

No tracking cookies and no analytics scripts. The generated privacy page states what does happen: a content delivery network processes visitor IP addresses transiently, and form submissions are processed by mailnix on your behalf.
